Richard Cabellos is a 100% pro-choice candidate running for the District 50 seat of the Virginia House of Delegates. Cabellos, a Democrat, is running against Republican incumbent Jackson Miller, who has represented District 50 since 2006.

Throughout his tenure, Miller has earned a 0% pro-choice rating from NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia for voting to create funding for CPC’s, voting for “personhood” and TRAP legislation, and voting in favor mandating that physicians complete medically unnecessary ultrasounds on women seeking abortion.

Cabellos, a son of immigrants who came to the United States in search of a better life, strongly believes that everyone deserves equal rights and opportunities. It is because of this that Cabellos believes that all Virginians deserve high quality healthcare, which means that women deserve to have their privacy respected and protected when they are making decisions regarding their health and family planning.

If re-elected, Miller will continue his outrageous crusade against women’s health and rights. Richard Cabellos is a candidate who will fight for women’s rights to make our own personal, private medical decisions, and NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia is proud to support him.
