This month the NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC released its first endorsements of the 2009 election cycle. (Yep, that’s right Virginians, we’ve got a big election coming up–Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, and all 100 seats of the House of Delegates!)
We’re proud to support these pro-choice leaders and hope you’ll do everything you can to help them win this year!
House District 13: John Bell
John Bell is challenging anti-choice incumbent Delegate Bob Marshall.
House District 35: Mark Keam
Mark Keam is vying for the seat formerly held by Steve Shannon, who is running for Attorney General this year.
House District 42: Greg Werkheiser
Greg Werkheiser is challenging anti-choice incumbent Delegate David Albo (you’ll remember Albo from his “inability to remember” his votes on reproductive healthcare in the 2009 session).
House District 73: Tom Shields
Tom Shields is challenging anti-choice incumbent (and physician) Delegate John O’Bannon.
Stay tuned for more endorsements from NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC–and in the meantime, go check out these four great candidates!
