NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, a state affiliate of NARAL Pro-Choice America, works to protect safe, legal abortion and expand the full range of reproductive rights for Virginians regardless of age, race or income. We are the policy and political arm of the pro-choice movement in Virginia.
Our mission is to develop and sustain a constituency that uses the political process on the state level in Virginia to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.
NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia works to educate Virginians and officeholders about the broad range of issues encompassing a woman’s right to choose and elect pro-choice candidates at all levels of government. We lobby policymakers in Richmond to pass pro-choice legislation, as well as to defeat policies that would limit women’s reproductive rights.
