NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC Announces Endorsement in the 45th House District Special Election
Rob Krupicka is clear choice for women’s health and rights in 45th House District Race
(Alexandria, VA) – NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia PAC is proud to announce its endorsement of Alexandria City Councilman Rob Krupicka in the September 4, 2012 special election for Virginia’s 45th House of Delegates district.
“Councilman Krupicka is a long-time advocate for women’s rights and health, and we are confident he will continue to stand up for women in the face of adversity in the General Assembly,” said NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia Executive Director Tarina Keene. “The choices in this election are starker than we have ever seen on women’s reproductive freedom. Rob Krupicka’s opponent’s views are not only narrow-minded, but out of touch with the vast majority of Virginians who value personal autonomy and freedom from government interference into their private lives. At a time when national politicians and our own governor are attacking access to safe, legal abortion care and even to birth control, we need a leader who is willing to go to Richmond and fight to protect women’s health and rights. Rob Krupicka is the clear choice for women and men who value freedom and liberty in the Commonwealth.”
“I am confident Rob will stand strong against these vicious attacks on women’s rights and will help protect and expand access to comprehensive reproductive healthcare for all Virginians,” lauded Keene. “We are thrilled to support someone of Councilman Krupicka’s character and commitment to choice.”
